Hello Joey,

I have an interest in developing an PC based multiplayer version of Phage Wars and I was wondering if this offer interests you. You would get the credit for the game design, and profit sharing for the completed version.

Let me know if this interests you, you can contact me at steven@delfonestudios.com

Joey, I absolutely admire all of your work, but I especially admire your Phage Wars 2 flash game. It's truly amazing, and i am very good at it in my opinion. I actually beat the game in 12 minutes =). I respectfully hope that you would try and create a third Phage wars, maybe add more experiments and cells if you like. I thank you for giving me such invigorating entertainment, and i wish you good luck with your amazing works!

To the talented Joey Betz,

Phage wars two was the finest game I've ever played.

I'm putting out a magazine on April 1st and would like to tell the world (or like twelve readers) of your games and ways. All material will remain yours and will not be edited sold, transferred traded or given without your permission.

E-mail is best:

Hi! I played "Phage Wars 2" recently and wanted to comment.
The gameplay is interesting, but there's a lot more you could do with it, reflecting how genetics and biology work.

Off the top of my head:

Gene map:
DNA code is much like computer code; this could be exploited to make the DNA management part of the game more challenging (and more like actual genetics work).
How about putting in genetic control segments:
*promoters which will enhance traits of genes downstream

*On/off switches: "Activate this gene segment when there are more than 50 phages in the cell." Good for optimizing!

Maybe put in a few special traits, rather than just number modifiers.
*Lysing enzymes: Infected cells explode when full, giving 50% bonus phages.
*Continual release: cells with more than 100 spread their surplus phages to surrounding cells.

RTS part:
*You could have some cells (white cells, bacteria) that move about the map.
*There might be active immune defenses in the area.
*Backgrounds might matter: Cells near a blood vessel might give a better reproduction rate
*Currents in the medium might necessitate going the long way around to reach some cells.

wow Ive been hooked on your games since phage wars. i have to say phage wars 2 was great, i loved how there were different types of cells you could interact with.
as said above i think multi-player phage wars would be the best yet. although if you do make a phage wars 3 and it doesn't have multi-player i think the next best thing you could do would be to make a story line. something like an experimental drug has been injected into a human host and now has to take it over while combating obstacles like while blood cells and the lymph nodes and such. not THAT would make my day, but ether way you make some amazing games :D keep up the great work.

also i think it would be cool to see like a player created map pack of demolition city, or more maps or something. that's a pretty fun game as well.
